Do you offer in person appointments?
Yes, sessions are available in-person at his office location or through secure online video conferencing for clients' convenience and comfort.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM A THERAPY SESSION?
During a psychotherapy appointment, you can expect a confidential and supportive environment where we'll explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. The session typically begins with introductions and establishing goals for therapy. I will guide you through discussions, exercises, and interventions tailored to your needs, helping you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and make positive changes in your life. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your therapist will provide feedback and support as you work towards your goals. Sessions end with reflection and planning for future sessions
HOW OFTEN AND HOW LONG DO WE NEED TO MEET?
It is difficult to answer how long we should meet. It depends on what issue(s) are addressed and what your goals are for therapy. In my experience, therapy is most productive when it is conducted weekly, especially for the first few months. This weekly consistency helps establish a solid therapist-client relationship, which has shown to have a positive correlation with improved outcomes in therapy.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Therapy sessions are billed at $200 for individual sessions, and $220 for couples therapy. I have a limited number of reduced fee slots for clients in financial need. Please contact me to discuss.
CAN I USE INSURANCE?
I do not accept health insurance at this time. I do accept Lyra, an employee assistance program. You may be eligible for reimbursement of some or all of the fee if you have “out of network benefits.” Please contact your insurance company to inquire whether or not you have these benefits.
